1. How to Apply
(I) User Level Courses 
Application form and Prospectus for user level courses can be obtained bypayment of Rs. 20/- per application form in Cash from the Director,
Northern Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Sirsa Road
Hisar (Haryana)-125001

(II) Other than User level Courses 
The Prospective candidates may apply on Plain paper giving full details viz.Name, Father’s Name, Age, Address, Experiences along with all the self attestedcopies of documents.
(III) The application form for all the courses can also be downloaded from thewebsite of the Institute.
(IV) The prospectus and the training calendar also available on the website ofthe Institute:-
(V) Departmental Candidate shall apply through proper channel.
The advertisements for the Training Programmes are made in the leading National& State Newspapers for the information time to time.

2. Stipend and Travelling allowance
(i) Eligible candidates for UserLevel Courses (U1 to U-13) course are paid a stipend @ Rs 500/- per week  or 2000/- per month  for the entire duration of training. They are alsopaid to & fro second class traveling charges by rail or ordinary buscharges from the nearest Railway Station/Bus Stand of their home town(Residential certificate is to be enclosed) or the place where he is actualresiding at the time of admission where the address at which all the correspondencehas been made on the production of tickets only.
(ii) Since the nominees of Government Departments, Semi-Government,Co-operative Societies and Defense Establishments are eligible for pay andallowances as admissible to them from their sponsoring Departments, they arenot entitled to stipend. However, they are eligible only for free Incidental Chargesand Hostel Accommodation. They are required to meet their own expenditure for foodcharges etc. during their stay in the Hostel. 
(iii) No stipend or TA/DA will be given to trainees selected for the coursesother than User level training programmes.

3. Medium of Instructions
Instructions are imparted in Hindiand English only. Candidates should therefore, be able to understand andexpress in any one of these languages.

As a part of training, regular and periodical tests are conducted and to suchof the candidates who successfully complete training, certificate are awarded.
